The Bundaberg Greyhound Racing Club can offer catering for your next event, function, or social day out. Have your end of year business or social club Xmas function at the dogs. Come & celebrate with your mates, whether male or female when your on your bucks or hens days. We can offer a drinks & food package combined with gate entry at a reduced rate for bookings with more than 20 people. For a great day of action packed greyhound racing & an atmosphere for a great social day out there is no better place to be than a day out at the dogs. Fundraising at the Dogs

FUNDRAISING ???

* There is a way you can raise $$$ and have a great fun day out at the same time.

* Why not have a Fundraising Day with the Bundaberg Greyhound Racing Club?

*Cost to your Club? There is NO costs to your club.

Simply organise your team/committee to go out and pre-sell as many entry tickets as possible and get the people to come along and enjoy themselves with an afternoon of live greyhound racing action at Thabeban Park Racing Complex.

You can also collect Sponsors for races on the day. All supporting races on the day can be “sold” to sponsors for a fee determined by your club. We suggest you aim for $50.00 to $150.00 per race and you get to keep this too.

The revenue from all  pre-sold gate tickets @ $5.50 per single entry, soon adds up to a healthy amount. 100 entry tickets = $550.00 to your club. Plus any race sponsorship. 8 races with $100 sponsored per race = $800. So that’s a total of $1350.00 plus whatever is made selling raffle tickets. All that in one day.

It beats selling chocolates over a two month period and raising less than what you can with a day out at the dogs.

Currently, maximum number of races is 8 including any feature race. But also depends on the amount of nominations received for that week. (Please check with the club if you want to have more than eight sponsors. Some might have to have joint sponsorship per race.) These races are publicized in the NewsMail each week when we race.

Raffle Rights

You receive the rights to conduct a raffle at the track on the day. The more attractive you can make the raffle the more tickets you will sell, thus raising more money for you. The Bundaberg Greyhound Racing Club will also hold a Meat Tray Raffle on the day. The better the prize the more tickets you can expect to sell. (Suggested Minimum Raffle Prize $50.00)

The Name of the game is to get as many of your club members and supporters to turn up on the day, thereby making it a mutually successful promotion for both clubs.
